Acadian country artist Laurie LeBlanc is in the running for a Prix de la musique de la côte Est 2022 (ECMA) "Recording of the Year - Solo Artist" with his English album "When It's Right It's Right". Produced by multi-award winner Jason Barry, the album received an ECMA 2021 nomination in the “Country Recording of the Year” category.

“When Its’ Right It’s Right” is also a finalist for an ELOIZES award in October 2022.
The stars aligned for the creation of this seventh album which was directed by the multi-award winner Jason Barry, and another reason to believe “When It’s Right It’s Right!” Indeed, thanks to her “Show of the Year” award at the Canadian Country Music Award Gala in 2018 that Laurie made her first trip to France; and met the Irish singer-songwriter Don Mescall during the dance and country music congress organized by the Francophone Federation of Country Dance and Line Dance FFCLD in Issoudun. This meeting allowed Mescall to propose several songs to LeBlanc for "When It's Right It's Right", including his title track which tells precisely that when everything aligns easily, it is because it had to happen.
Laurie LeBlanc made a name for herself among Quebec audiences thanks, among other things, to the success of his song "Moi-itou mojito", which climbed to the top of sales in on ITunes Francophone charts in 2016. During his 12-year career solo, he sang on the same stage as his idol Alan Jackson and with many renowned artists such as Zachary Richard, Michel Pagliaro, Renée Martel, Patrick Normand, Guylaine Tanguay, Laurence Jalbert, Paul Piché, etc. LeBlanc has also received several prestigious honors and awards, from SOCAN, the Music NB Awards, the Country Gala and Josie Music Awards in Tennessee.
