(Montr\u00e9al) – Tout comme nous, le chanteur acadien LAURIE LEBLANC<\/a><\/strong> a trouv\u00e9 les deux derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es passablement difficiles; tout comme nous, il s\u2019est ennuy\u00e9 de pouvoir festoyer en famille ou entre amis autour d\u2019un bon feu ou sur le bord d\u2019une piscine. C\u2019est pourquoi il a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de d\u00e9dier un album complet de chansons originales bilingues \u00e0 tous ces plaisirs estivaux qui lui manquaient tant, intitul\u00e9 for<\/a><\/strong><\/em>, qui sortira le 19 ao\u00fbt prochain et qui sera officiellement lanc\u00e9 le 24 ao\u00fbt \u00e0 Dieppe (Nouveau-Brunswick), dans le cadre d\u2019un spectacle ext\u00e9rieur.

LeBlanc avoue avoir eu besoin de cr\u00e9er des choses positives apr\u00e8s ces deux ans de pand\u00e9mie\u00a0: \u00ab J\u2019adore l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9, j\u2019adore aller dans le Sud, et je n\u2019ai pas pu en profiter comme je le voulais ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es. Et j\u2019avais envie d\u2019avoir du fun<\/em> en studio \u2014 et dieu sait que j\u2019en ai eu avec ma gang de musiciens. \u00bb

Et ce plaisir en studio s\u2019est transpos\u00e9 sur disque\u00a0: impossible en effet de ne pas sourire et de taper du pied en \u00e9coutant les 12 pi\u00e8ces de cet album bilingue. N\u2019allez pas croire pour autant que Laurie s\u2019en va \u00e0 la retraite : comme bon nombre de musiciens, il a vu l\u2019industrie changer depuis dix ans, et du m\u00eame coup les habitudes d\u2019achat des consommateurs; \u00e0 partir de maintenant, il lancera seulement des simples et des EP. \u00ab On vit dans un monde de singles<\/em>, alors il faut s\u2019adapter et \u00e9voluer si on ne veut pas dispara\u00eetre. Les ventes d\u2019albums physiques sont en perte de vitesse et \u00e7a ne va pas aller en s\u2019am\u00e9liorant, on le sait. D\u00e9j\u00e0, depuis trois ans, je vends des cl\u00e9s USB comprenant les 75 chansons de mes sept albums pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents; avec ces 12 nouvelles chansons, toute co\u00e9crites avec ma conjointe Jeannette, elles en compteront dor\u00e9navant 87! \u00bb

Soulignons la pr\u00e9sence remarqu\u00e9e des Hey Babies (Julie Aub\u00e9, Katrine No\u00ebl et Vivianne Roy) sur cet album, elles qui ont fait des ch\u0153urs sur l\u2019irr\u00e9sistible pi\u00e8ce \u00c0 La Beach Boys<\/em>.

En terminant, de bonnes nouvelles pour Laurie : il est en nomination trois fois au Gala Country du Festival de Saint-Tite (14 septembre), une fois au Gala des \u00c9loizes \u00e0 Petit-Rocher, Nouveau-Brunswick (1er<\/sup> octobre) et dans trois cat\u00e9gories au Josie Music Awards de Nashville, Tennessee (22 octobre).
