On February 21, 2019, the Country Artist of the Year headed to Nanaimo, BC on Vancouver Island. Accompanied by his four musicians, the Acadian from Bouctouche, New Brunswick, presented his show at the 19th edition of the Maple Sugar Festival in Nanaimo, British Columbia.

 “This was my first time in the province of British Columbia and I was very honored to perform three shows at this renowned festival.” Mention Laurie. “We couldn't wait to discover the largest island on the west coast of America and introduce our Acadian style." Adds Laurie.
