Wednesday morning, April 20, 2016 in one of the most popular talk show hosted by Paul Arcand on the airwaves of 98.5 fm, the journalist Émilie Perreault plays a brief extract of the song Moi-itou Mojito by Laurie LeBlanc as part of a column on the Canadian Francophone Country Gala which will take place at the Montreal Casino on November 19. Barely a few seconds of the song are played. Mr. Arcand likes it, we make him play the excerpt again, then a third time later in the show, and it's the explosion!

The popular radio station's many listeners seem to be just as hooked as the hosts to this southern-sounding song they've just discovered, and it becomes, in just a few hours, the most downloaded French extract on iTunes Canada. And this is only the beginning! The next morning, we do an interview with Laurie LeBlanc on the same show, followed by articles on Radio-Canada, in La Presse and on almost every social network. It's Moi-itou Mojito madness!
