(Bouctouche) – Renowned country singer-songwriter Laurie LeBlanc today releases Clin d’œil aux pionniers, the second single from his 9th album De hier à demain, scheduled for April 25, 2026. This one-of-a-kind album features collaborations across generations, bringing together yesterday’s pioneers, today’s talents, and tomorrow’s rising stars.
Following the success of the first single Country et Swiftie, performed as a duet with his young niece Sofia LeBlanc, Laurie this time presents a song filled with emotion and gratitude toward those who paved the way for Acadian country music. Clin d’œil aux pionniers pays tribute to notable figures such as 1755, Cayouche, Paul Dwayne, Lee Marlow, Frank Maillet, and Raymond
“The recent passing of Paul Dwayne, Cayouche, and Lee Marlow was a shock for the entire community,” explains Laurie. “It was important for me to highlight the monumental work of these pioneers who opened doors and shaped my life from childhood. I remember listening to Lee Marlow’s 45s and 1755’s albums, then performing the songs of Cayouche, Frank Maillet, and Raymond Savoie on stage. Paul Dwayne paved the way to Quebec for me and many other Acadian artists. Putting together a tribute show in his name was a defining moment in my career.”

To give even more meaning to this tribute, Laurie invited the sons of some pioneers to collaborate on the song: Jean-Marc Cormier (son of Lee Marlow), James Després (son of Paul Dwayne), Steve Maillet (son of Frank Maillet), and Zacharie Robichaud (son of Pierre Robichaud of 1755).
The official launch of the album De hier à demain will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the Capitol Theatre in Moncton, with the participation of several surprise guests.
This release holds a very special meaning for Laurie, who in 2025 is celebrating 15 years of her solo career and 30 years in the music industry, thus marking an important milestone in a journey rich in music and passion.
