His double album Long Weekend earns two new nominations for Album of the Year: Album (Multilingual and Other Languages) at the ADISQ Gala, which will take place on November 1 in Montreal, Quebec, and Recording of the Year at the MNB Awards, which will be held on October 19 in Moncton, New Brunswick.

“What an honor to receive these three nominations for my project Long Weekend,” admits Laurie LeBlanc. “The goal of this album was really to bring some sunshine after the gray days of the pandemic. I think we succeeded in making people smile and bringing happiness into their daily lives, but now I must admit that this makes me smile a lot and brings me immense joy to receive these wonderful nominations,” adds the country singer.

The album of original bilingual songs, which includes a French EP and an English EP, is also in contention for two awards at the upcoming Country Gala (October 26 in Montreal, QC) as well as four awards at the 9th edition of the Josie Music Awards (October 22 in Nashville, Tennessee).
