After the announcement of his 5 nominations at the Canadian Country Francophone Gala which will take place November 19 at the Montreal Casino, his new single “Moi-itou Mojito” which is nominated for song of the Year was recently played on the French radio 98.5 FM, one of the most popular radio talk show in Montreal, Quebec. Hardly just discovered, this French single became the most downloaded song on iTunes for almost a week starting April 20th, 2016.
Although he only started a solo career in 2010, Laurie LeBlanc’s first public appearance goes back to July 22, 1995. 20 years of great Country Music! With this milestone comes a special album titled 20, which includes a bonus DVD (in French only). Twenty years of memories shared on video clips, interviews and photographs. Ten of the eleven songs were written by Laurie and to no surprise, the first single Kiddy Kats stayed at the top of the charts across the New Brunswick French radio stations for six weeks (ARCANB), and was the #1 song of the year on the Top 89 of 2015 on CJSE Radio.
